Balkantel OOD, represented by Hristo Durchev and Nikola Durchev, took a key part in the round table organized by President Rumen Radev on the topic: “Application of affordable technologies and products with a large asymmetric effect in modern conflicts”. It was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense, the Chief of Defense and the Commanders of all types of Armed Forces.

Only 11 companies from all over Bulgaria presented themselves at the event, and Balkantel OOD was one of them – as a leading manufacturer and integrator in the defense industry.

The focus of the event was aimed at increasing the defense capabilities of the Bulgarian Army as a key factor for national security and the extreme importance of communication, information and navigation systems, as well as those for cyber defense and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).

The topics we presented were mainly focused on:

• Field airports – mobile tower (KDP) incl. VCCS, mobile radars, tactical navigation aids (incl. mobile NDB/MB);
• Tactical C4ISR systems – incl. mobile VCCS and NMS/MMI monitoring systems
• UAVs and anti-drone systems
• Cyber defense

We also chimed in with important topics and statements during the final discussion between the defense industry, the President, and representatives of the Department of Defense and the Armed Forces.
