Sales & Business Development Expert/Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop business plans and sales strategies tailored to Balkantel’s target sectors
- Set measurable objectives and targets for sales performance
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas within Balkantel’s target sectors
- Analyze customer needs and preferences to refine our offerings and enhance value propositions
- Business Development:
- Identify and engage potential clients and partners through networking, referrals and outreach efforts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors and technology partners
- Sales Execution:
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring effective communication and follow-up
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight our products and solutions
- Prepare and present offers to clients, and when needed, lead a team for the preparation of offers
- Negotiation and Contract Monitoring:
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to maximize profitability
- Oversee contract execution in light of ensuring and promoting future business
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports and present findings to senior management
- Adjust sales strategies based on performance data and feedback
- Industry Engagement:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and networking events to promote our products and services and build relationships
- Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record in the similar or related fields
- Understanding of industry dynamics, including current challenges and opportunities
- Experience in international sales of technology products and services is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in negotiation techniques
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel frequently for meetings, industry events and project engagements
