Balkantel Ltd. started 2021 with active activities on several projects. One of them is “Modernization of the railway, catenary and signaling and telecommunications systems at Plovdiv station and construction of a communication and transport breakthrough under the railway area of ​​Plovdiv station.“

Numerous site inspections were carried out in January. Our team has prepared an important part of the project documentation, which is an important basis for its excellent development and completion. Our specialists prepared the entire Technical Project – part “Alarm” and part “Telecommunications”. In addition to them, the Technology for carrying out the activities in the station was prepared and handed over. Despite the complicated pandemic situation, our team took part in numerous meetings and commissions to organize the work process.

All project activities cover:

– replacement of the rail circuits with an ESSO-M section control system (with axle counters);

– installation of new ESOA;

– visualization and management of all sites in BMRC on the basis of computer equipment.

– adaptation and reconstruction of BMRC in accordance with the changed configuration of Plovdiv station;
